About
Half a billion balls go missing every year.
Most are not really lost. They are fished out of ponds, found in the rough, cleaned up and played again by someone else. We thought that was a story worth keeping.
Gopher Balls prints a unique code on every ball. Owners register their balls; finders scan them and log where they turned up. Over time a ball builds a journey: courses, towns, states, sometimes countries. The leaderboard keeps score.
The gopher is the course's oldest pest and the best ball finder on any fairway. It seemed right.
